Throwback Thursday: When I was little, I had developed an abscess on my head while living in a pet store and nobody told my owners that I had this condition when I was purchased as a pet. Luckily, my owners were concerned enough to get it checked out by a reputable vet and it was removed before it became a life threatening problem. However, a lot of time and money was spent on me that my owners were not prepared for. Pet stores don’t mention the long-term costs of owning a rabbit or that it’s possible for us to live up to 12 years. They don’t note the importance of a good diet or that we need plenty of space/time to exercise. More often than not, they just do not know enough about rabbits and therefore cannot educate customers on how to properly care for them. As a result, many wind up in animal shelters, where they are at least properly cared for by educated volunteers, and wait for a new home.
The Story by Mobstr
This put a smile on my face. Continuing on from Mobstr’s "Playing With The Buff Man" series, The Story tells the tale of the on going dance between the artist and the so called “Buff Man” as they both fight for control over the wall.
